Time again to share a little bit of what we’ve been working on here on Main Street. We’ve be sharing a lot of web work lately, so here is one of our biggest print jobs each year – annual reports.
As with each year, we are given the opportunity to use speciality printing techniques to give these pieces a little something extra. The first one is for Professionals Advocate – a subsidiary of Medical Mutual Liability Insurance Company. We used a parchment printed texture on the entire cover and used a multi level emboss technique on the wax seal to give it the appearance of a real wax mark. With a gloss UV over top we were very happy with the end result.
This second one, for Medical Mutual, used the same emboss technique with a different subject matter – a pocket watch. We were able to get the watch and all of it’s chain links raised with a gloss UV to give it a golden metallic appearance.
